Sew Thankful Sunday, October Part 2

This is a continuation of Sew Thankful Sunday, Part 1.  I have lots more inspiration to share with you and a bit more time to do it.

1.  Melissa at Happy Quilting has been busy playing with the new Jolly Bar pre-cuts from Fat Quarter Shop.  You will love The Wall Quilt tutorial for it’s ease and simplicity and also for its cute factor.

2.  If you love decorating with pillows, you’ll love this Scrappy Halloween Pillow from Lindsey at Fort Worth Fabric Studio.  It’s the traditional granny square all dressed up for Halloween!

3.  When I saw these free Fall Printables from Jane at Cottage at the Crossroads, I knew I had to share them with you.  I like to print them out and frame them, or you can see what Jane has done with them.

4.  If you love candy corn, then you must check out this roundup of Candy Corn ideas from Maryann at Domestically Speaking.  If you don’t want to eat them, you can always decorate with them!

5.  Go out for Halloween in style with this Trick or Treat Bag by Melissa of the Polka Dot Chair.  She’s sharing her tutorial at Tatertots & Jello and it looks like a great way to use up that Halloween fabric!

6.  I have been waiting for this free pattern to become available, and now it’s here!  The Mini Buds Quilt pattern by Corey Yoder of Little Miss Shabby is just adorable!  If you haven’t made a mini quilt yet, this might be the one for you.

7.  I love the look of pineapple blocks, and Amanda Jean of Crazy Mom Quilts has a great tutorial for making one without paper piecing.  This is a great scrap buster!

8.  Good quilt block resources are only a click away at Gen X Quilters.  Anne Marie has gathered a collection of over 300 free tutorials!  Definitely worth checking out.

9.  These Log Cabin Hexi Potholders from Caroline at Sew Can She are a great introduction to partial seams.  Plus you get a really cute potholder when you’re finished!

10.  Sometimes all you need is a Sharpie Pen and a little imagination to make a great project.  Krista from The Happy Housie did just that with her DIY Dropcloth Sharpie Pillow.  Easy and perfect for Halloween!
