Summer Fun Quilt Along coming in June
Hi everyone! I have some exciting news to share. I’m going to be hosting a Summer Fun Quilt Along – starting in June! This little quilt is full of sunshine and summer-time goodness.
This will be a weekly quilt along for the month of June with a free tutorial for each section. The quilt measures 30″ x 33″. The schedule will be as follows:
- June 1: Checkerboard rows and wave blocks
- June 8: Beach balls and pinwheels
- June 15: Sunflowers and stems
- June 22: Butterfly and sunny stars
- June 29: SUMMER applique and finishing
- July 6: Linky open
- July 20: Prizes announced
I’ll give you the fabric requirements in a few weeks. It’s small and scrappy, so you will probably be able to use your stash for most of it. You can also leave out the applique letters and replace that row with a sashing strip (but it’s so cute with the letters!)
The Summer Fun Quilt Along will have a linky party at the end so you can show off your finished quilts, and there will be a prizes for those who complete their quilt top by July 20! I hope you all can join me for some Summer Fun!
