Hot Air Balloon Mini Quilt, Section 2 correction

I have a slight correction to the cutting instructions on Section 2 of the Hot Air Balloon Mini Quilt tutorial.  The black square should be cut at 4 1/2″ NOT 4 1/4″.  It’s been updated on the blog.

Flying Geese (no-waste method – over-sized)

  • Black:  (1) 4 1/2″ square (corrected)
  • Gray:  (4) 2 5/8″ squares

My apologies!  I don’t have pattern testers for these free tutorials, so little corrections might be the price you pay.  Hopefully that’s the only one! Thanks for understanding.

Julie

  1. Hi Julie. When you were quilting the Hot Air Balloon, there was a mini quilt in the background with the spools, sewing machine and stars. Did you ever have this pattern on your blog or was it a quilt along. It is a great little quilt. If you did post this pattern and I missed it could I somehow get it. Or if it was’t post or a quilt along would you consider doing that. It just looks like a neat little project.

  2. Ditto to Jennie’s comment: Thank you for sharing your great patterns with us. Love the ballon quilt and your design
