Spring is here and Spring quilts too!
It’s officially Spring today! The sun is shining and the clouds are gathering in typical Spring-like fashion. I took a few garden photos of some new flowers popping up, and I have three Spring quilts from the archive that are worth sharing again.
Spring flowers
Being in California, our mild temperatures give us first dibs on Spring flowers. Daffodils, Freesia, Forget-me-knots and Grape Hyacinths are just now poking their bright heads above the ground.
Spring Quilts
Two years ago, my Spring Bunny Table Runner tutorial was published. I just updated it and added a free pdf that you can download and print! This is such an adorable accent to my Spring table.
Last year, I shared my (free) Spring Is For The Birds Wall Hanging pattern and it definitely brightens up any room. This one has simple piecing and the applique is optional (but so cute). It measures 24″ square and is perfect for using up scraps.
Last, but certainly not least, is Patchwork Peter Rabbit. This is one of my favorites (from 2014)! Obviously I’m a fan of applique. This little rabbit is dressed up in quilt squares and I love bringing him out at Easter time.

I’ve been busy trimming HST units and I have a blog post coming in a few days with my favorite tools for trimming them. Happy Spring my friends!
