  1. Creatives On Fire Podcast is hosted by Melanie Ferguson who shares strategies for blogging and online business growth. If you’re just starting out or you have an existing blog, Melanie points you to strategies, systems and insights that have worked for her.
  1. Craft To Career Podcast with Elizabeth Chappell is perfect for anyone who would like to turn their creative passion into a career. Elizabeth interviews different “crafterprenuers” on their professional journey, and shares practical tips to help you grow your dream business.
  1. The Professional Creative Podcast is a great guide to help you begin your creative career. Bonnie Christine is a successful artist, surface designer, content and course creator, and a mentor who loves to share her knowledge and insights with others.
  1. Being Boss with Emily Thompson is an exploration of what it means and takes to be boss as a creative business owner, freelancer, or side-hustler. 1. Craft Industry Alliance Podcast is hosted by Abby Glassenberg, the co-founder of the Craft Industry Alliance. This trade organization offers an opportunity for makers, suppliers, designers and writers to join together as allies under a united “craft industry” umbrella. Each podcast is a chat with designers and makers about what it really takes to build a creative business.
  1. Simple Pin Podcast is dedicated to helping you learn how to use Pinterest for business growth. Pinterest is where I get most of my traffic from, so I appreciate staying updated on the latest trends and tips for Pinterest marketing.

Where to listen to podcasts

There are several apps and platforms that you can use to listen to a podcast. Most are free to use but may come with ads unless you upgrade to a premium subscription.

  • I use Apple Podcasts most of the time because it’s convenient for me since I have an Apple phone. It’s free to use, but some content may require a subscription. (I haven’t run into this).
  • Spotify is another good choice. It has a free ad-supported version and premium subscription if you want to forgo the ads.
  • There is also Pocket Casts which is an app for both Android and iOS with free and paid tiers.
  • iHeart Radio is another popular option that is free with premium tiers available as well.
