I finally get to show you the new labels I ordered for all of my quilting and sewing projects! These labels have been on my “need to have” list for quite a while. I ordered them from The Dutch Label Shop and they turned out awesome. I was able to send them my logo and they magically turned it into a custom label! Keep reading for a special discount code for my readers.
The first use of my new labels is on this cute little pouch. If you’re making a gift for someone, they’ll never forget where it came from.
The pouch was made from a subscription kit that I receive every month from Sew Lux Fabrics. This was my first one, and I love it! I use this pouch to keep all of my colored pens together for my Quilter’s Planner (which is an amazing organizational tool).
You can also use these labels for your quilts. It’s easy to add the date and other details with a Micron pen or other permanent marking pen.
I just finished sewing on the binding to my Woven Hearts quilt. Because I had a busy border print, I was able to stitch the label on by machine; the stitching is hardly visible on the front (if you use matching thread).
Next time, I’m going to make a quilt label using the technique from this video and add my custom made Dutch label. I think it will give my quilts a nice, finishing touch.
The Dutch Label Shop is graciously offering a 15% discount for any of my readers who place an order on their website. The coupon code is thecraftyquilter15 (all lower case). Just enter the code when you’re prompted during the check out process. The coupon will be valid for 60 days, so you have until April 17, 2018 to place your order.
I think a personalized label is such a sweet addition to your handmade items. Give yourself a gift and place your order
Thanks for visiting and happy sewing!
