Free holiday planning sheet and new projects
The holidays are fast approaching and you may be feeling the stress of time slipping away. I’m about as disorganized as they come, so I made myself a planning list to organize the chaos. Is it just me or is it more inviting to write things down on a cute list than just plain old paper? If you feel the same, then I’m happy to share my holiday planning sheet with you!

The Holiday Planning Sheet
With all of the holiday shopping, entertaining, travel and creative busyness that comes with December, it helps to write things down in one place. This one little planning sheet has four areas of focus:
- Things to make – top of the list because that’s my priority!
- Things to do – this could include all kinds of things like cleaning, scheduling, cooking, etc.
- Things to buy – ’tis the season of gifts, but this could also include stamps, supplies, etc.
- Notes – anything else you need to keep track of.
There’s also a gentle reminder: “Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is relax”. It’s easy to over-commit and stretch yourself thin. Remember to breath and do the best you can. The rest will fall into place, maybe just a little differently than you intended.

You can download and print as many copies of the holiday planning sheet as you like. You may find you need more than one page to collect all of your “to do’s”! Some people have a hard time with pdf’s, so I’ve included two versions of the planning sheet to choose from: PDF and JPG. Pick and click below!
New projects
Leave a few open spaces on your “things to make” list because I’m cooking up some fun and easy holiday projects to share with you! I have been having so much fun in my sewing room making the cutest Holly-day mug rug. It’s a one day project that is perfect for gifting. You can catch a glimpse of my progress below.

As you know, I also love table runners. I have plans for an easy tutorial to make a Holly-day table runner that you’re going to love. As the name suggests, the table runner will have a similar look to the mug rug.
Mark you calendars for Black Friday, November 28, for the Holly-day mug rug tutorial to be published followed by the table runner one week later! If you want to avoid the shopping mayhem of Black Friday, then this mug rug will be a great project to enjoy while you stay cozy at home.
I hope you’re enjoying the remnants of fall. If you’re in the states, Thanksgiving is next week! We’re hosting, but it’s a small headcount this year. That means the pressure is off (for now). Stay warm and enjoy this season of giving.
Don’t forget to pin the image below to save for later.
